When she was asked less than a month ago about what her plans are for ‘Sweetener’ about whether or not she was going to take it on the road, Ariana Grande was still unsure. She had just split from fiancé Pete Davidson earlier September, after mourning her ex, and really good friend and collaborator, Mac Miller.
But she’s shrugging all that off, as she announces a tour behind the latest album ‘Sweetener’. The tour will kick off in March, and will wrap up in New York City’s Madison Square Garden in June. She’s also been teasing new music lately, having tweeted that a new album is on the way, and even sharing snippets of a new song.
Her last released music video (if you could call it that) is for the ‘Sweetener’ single ‘Breathin’”, which starred her pet pig, Piggy Smalls. However, that was just a teaser video for the actual release. Ariana had declared that it is just a joke, and that she has “been through hell and back” and that she is entitled to having a little fun.
Ariana Grande is indeed one of the strongest artists on the block nowadays, still sharp as ever despite everything she has been through. There can only be more from here. Ariana Grande is one to watch.
