Last year, he launched his own whiskey line. This time, Nobel Prize-winning legendary rock singer-songwriter Bob Dylan has announced that he will be opening his own music venue and distillery in Nashville. His whiskey line, Heaven’s Door, is partnering with him to open this distillery and center for the arts, which will also feature a restaurant and “whiskey library”.
Heaven’s Door Distillery And Center for the Arts will open in the fall of 2020 and will be located at 616 5th Avenue in downtown Nashville. The place will also host the artist’s paintings and metalwork sculptures.
The opening of the venue will also be commemorating the artist’s upcoming ninth studio album.
Earlier this year, it was announced that Martin Scorsese is directing a new concert film for Netflix, which would follow Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue tour, which Netflix described as “part documentary, part concert film, part fever dream”. No release date or further information has been presented.
