Demi Lovato’s ‘Sober’ Is A Raw Depiction of Addiction

Demi Lovato just released a new song and video, ‘Sober’, where she opens up about her emotional journey on addiction. She’s always been outspoken about real topics such as sexuality, mental health, and eating disorders, and now she talks about her sobriety.

In the song, Demi Lovato describes the hardships and challenges of withdrawal as talks about the “shakes”, the “cold sweats”, and her relapses. She just celebrated six years of sobriety on Twitter in March, and calls on fans and people who resonate with this situation to be aware and inspired.
