Filling some large ‘footprints’ here, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is not falling short to its predecessor, Jurassic World, the fourth film in the Jurassic Park movie saga that stormed its way to $1.671 billion at the worldwide box office.
Starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, the film had a domestic opening of $150 million, and has already roared past the $700 million mark at the global box office.
Jurassic World (the previous film) holds fourth place on the all-time list of highest grossing movies internationally until Avengers: Infinity War bumped it down to fifth place. Fallen Kingdom now takes up the challenge of measuring up to its predecessor. It’s now on its third week, and even though it had a weaker opening than the previous film, it’s still off to an incredible start.
Mixed reviews haven’t stopped audiences from going out and seeing the film. Have you seen it yet?
