N.Flying was put under an intense amount of heat among the public for a slight scandal last month, but things took a good turn when they released their successful new single ‘Rooftop’.
The group underwent public backlash and scrutiny when the band’s former bassist Kwon Kwon Jin made headlines for multiple accusations, including sexual harassment, badmouthing his bandmates, and dating one of his fans––something that is highly frowned upon in the K-pop industry.
N.Flying made its debut in 2015 as a band under FNC Entertainment, dominating in the rock genre in Korea. They struggled through controversy previously after losing one of their core members in the middle of rehearsals, but they pushed on to release their album ‘Fly High Project’.
N.Flying seems to have hit gold with “Rooftop”, racking up several million views on YouTube and hit top spots on multiple domestic charts in Korea, including Melon and Bugs.
