"Produce 48" Is Reportedly Restricting Their Voting to Only Korea

After the success of two seasons, mnet's "Produce 101" this year includes both Korean and Japanese candidates, with members of AKB48.

It was rumored that the vote will be eligible to both countries Korea and Japan, and that there will be 6 Korean members and 6 Japanese members that will be able to debut. However, Mnet just revealed the rules of the show.

According to Ahn Joon Young, the PD of the show, the vote is only limited in Korea as some contests are already very famous in Japan, making it unfair for others. He aimed for equality. He also mentioned that the winner who gets the debut throne should only be based on votes, regardless of nationality.

The first episode of the show will air June 15. Let's see who will be the last one standing!
