During the KCON 2018 NY STAR Live Talk with Billboard, iconic K-pop act Super Junior discussed their latest achievement: becoming the first Korean group to appear on the Latin Digital Song Sales chart with their latest single “Lo Siento”.
The track is trilingual, featuring Korean, English, and Spanish, and was a collaboration with singer Leslie Grace and producers Play-N-Skillz. It was released in April, and broke into the Latin Digital chart at No. 13 on the chart dated April 28. It was the first time a K-pop act has appeared on a Latin chart. They credit their achievement to their fans, as well as the people they’ve worked with, and look forward to being part of a more collaborative environment between K-pop and global music.
Super Junior is currently at KCON NY 2018, closing out the first night’s headlining concert, alongside Pentagon and Stray Kids, Red Velvet and Heize.
