It’s that time of the year, and one of the most awaited leading music awards show has come upon us again. And as usual, the event doesn’t fail to give us some of music’s biggest moments.
Taylor Swift kicked off the awards night with her first awards show performance in nearly three years. She sang her hit “I Did Something Bad”, off her Reputation album, and she killed it on stage. She went ahead to win three awards the rest of the night, including the biggest honor, “Artist of the Year”.
The evening was hosted by “Black-ish” star Tracee Ellis Ross, and the winners are chosen by fan votes. She also took the opportunity and her time on stage to get people to vote, and feature African-American designers in her outfits.
Cardi B also stunned in a gorgeous floral ensemble during the awards show, and dominated with her performance of “I Like It” alongside Bad Bunny and J Balvin, her first performance since she gave birth to her baby girl Kulture. Other performances included Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, and more.
